Buckner Retirement Services Community: Ventana by Buckner Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite Address: 8301 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75225 Shift: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM; Weekends as needed. Job Schedule: Full-Time We are seeking a Transportation Associate to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a transportation associate, you will impact the lives of senior adults through providing assistance with providing safe and secure transportation for our residents. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others! What You'll Do: * Answers phone is a warm and friendly manner when a guest calls to retrieve a car. Collect all the necessary information from the guest so that the car can be brought to the drive. * Drive passenger van, bus and/or other designated vehicles to transport senior adult residents to and from scheduled and routine appointments and activities. Drive other vehicles as assigned. * Coordinate and arrange schedules of transportation for residents; discuss timing of appointments, treatments, activities, etc. with residents and staff. * Handles all Member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with Buckner Senior Living. * Assist with taking residents to and from outings as needed. * Maintain records on transportation provided for residents, fuel receipts and maintenance activity on the company vehicles. Timely and accurately complete quarterly Department of Transportation report. * Perform safety checks on vehicles prior to operation; perform preventive maintenance as indicated. * Keep vehicles filled with gasoline. Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance of vehicles as required. What You'll Bring to the Team To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following: * High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) required. Prior related experience working with and driving senior adults in a 12-15 passenger vehicle preferred. * Requires a current Texas Driver License and the ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions. * Commercial Driver's license Required. * Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy. Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner. * Requires ability to work under a flexible and busy schedule.
