Ramp Agent

We're looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone's journeys better. Gate Service Driver is responsible for driving a specialized catering vehicle on the airport ramp to provide catering services to airline customers in a timely manner. The Driver must follow all safety procedures when loading and unloading equipment into the warehouse, carts, and aircraft. $20.40/hr. + * Union initiation fee: $75.00 * Union monthly dues: $56.80 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage and deliver multiple tasks and delivering them within the assigned deadlines. * Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime when mandated * Arrive to work on-time and in uniform * Maintain a clean driving record * Complete paperwork * Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatchers * Work as a member of a team Education: * Not applicable Work Experience: * Not applicable Job Skills: * Current driver's license and clean driving record required * Complete mandatory Driving Test and AOA training at the airport Communication Skills: * Not applicable Environmental Requirements: * Will be exposed to utmost temperature changes and noise * Be able to work up to ten (10) feet in the air * Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds * Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours Demonstrated Competencies to be Successful in the Position: * Thinking - Information search and analysis, problem resolution skills * Engaging - understanding others, team leadership, developing people * Inspiring - influencing and building relationships, motivating and inspiring, communicating effectively * Achieving - delivering business results under pressure, championing performance improvement, customer focus The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
