The Backend Django Developer role will be responsible for creating and implementing performant code that is easy to read and understand. Your goal will be to improve commerce through good implementation on top of cloud-based, scalable technologies. The ideal candidate must be able to implement sound technical solutions that support millions at scale from specs or from scratch. Responsibilities Implement efficient functionality using Django and web technologies Translate high-level ideas into usable interfaces Help design and implement A/B tests Participate in peer reviews Requirements Django proficiency Bootstrap experience Extremely comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript Ecommerce experience is a plus Familiarity with browser inconsistencies Excellent communication skills (English) Technologies Django (1.8) and Python (2.7) JavaScript and jQuery HTML, CSS and Bootstrap (v3) Git, GitHub Vagrant We're looking for someone who can work with a cross-functional team of developers, marketing, support, and others to deliver work that puts our users first.
