SAP IT Project and Portfolio Manager - Supply Chain

We're currently seeking an experienced portfolio manager who can add a fresh, unique perspective to our team.In this role, the manager will support the lifecycle of a global portfolio for the IT Business Applications projects, with a focus on SAP initiatives and new demands mainly focusing on the area of Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Production and Logistics). This includes managing the demand process, ensuring budgets exists or new ones are approved, leading projects, optimizing standards and templates, identifying areas for improvement, reporting analyses, and training team members.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesImplementation, development, monitoring and management of operations and strategic portfolio planning with focus on SAP ECC / SAP S/4 Supply Chain initiatives.Create visibility of IT execution portfolio and provide governance & transparency to ensure the execution within approved time, budget, and scopeMaintaining the demand pipeline and act as primary partner for the business functions to capture, structure, align and plan business demand and match this demand with the IT supply functions' capacity.Adhering to the IT demand process and prioritization and alignment of the demand requestsCreate visibility of IT execution portfolio and provide governance & transparency to ensure the execution within approved time, budget, and scopeResponsible for the portfolio management tool and guidance for team membersResponsibility for Prioritization to foster a balanced Portfolio in cooperation with Business and IT Function Heads and UnitsManage day-to-day portfolio and project activities, establish and execute working plan for each project phaseFacilitate project reviews and checkpoint meetingsAnalyze key performance indicators to produce reports on portfolio and projectsEscalate issues that threaten portfolio and project successAct as project lead mainly for SAP implementation and enhancement projectsAlign the overall portfolio with the target enterprise architecture and align integration needs within the schedule and project timelineEducation Four-year degree in Computer Science / Information systems or related discipline.Experience and Qualifications 5 plus years' experience in a position of equal scope and responsibilityExperienced in IT project management and project methodologyKnowledge of ERP functionality especially in SAP (ECC or S/4). Experience from a functional point in Supply Chain of SAP (Modules: PP, QM, WM, PM, S&R, MM)Knowledgeable integration with enterprise platforms, such as MES, 3PLS, S&OP solutions.Understanding of information security and data privacy aspects and impacts of cloud applicationsAlternatively, experience as a project team member, particularly for implementation of Business Applications and on large scale IT/Business projectsExpertise in pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred, knowledge of validationSkillsStrong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and visually present ideas and concepts to both IT and business stakeholdersCustomer focus and service management attitude with a problem-solving attitudeTeam-oriented collaboration and good communication and presentation skillsEffective at interacting with IT staff, Business Staff and Senior Management
