Vice President for the Division of University Operations and Chief Financial Officer Posted onFeb 19, 2022 Profile CSU seeks an outstanding leader to serve as its next Vice President for the Division of University Operations and Chief Financial Officer (VPDUO/CFO). Reporting to the President, the VPDUO/CFO serves as a key visionary and innovative member of the presidential leadership team and will play a pivotal role in addressing multiple priorities while cultivating, evaluating, and implementing innovative ideas and strategies that further the goals of the university's academic and land grant missions. The VPDUO/CFO oversees a broad portfolio including the Finance team, Facilities Management, and Safety and Risk in addition to division support. The VPDUO/CFO oversees a budget of nearly $1.5 billion, a 35-person leadership team, and a division of more than 850 team members. The VPDUO/CFO also serves as the liaison to the Administrative Professional Council, State Classified Personnel Council and Association of Students, and oversees many university initiatives and programs such as Commitment to Campus and Strategic Partnerships. Additionally, the VPDUO/CFO works with the CSU System and the other system universities (CSU Pueblo and CSU Global). As CFO, the VPDUO/CFO's primary focus is to ensure the integrity of the financial processes and reporting of the University. The successful candidate will be a creative, innovative, and collaborative leader who understands the complexities of a large, multi-faceted public research institution. A bachelor's degree in a relevant area and a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and/or administration is required. An advanced degree is preferred. Candidates may come from diverse industry backgrounds though experience within higher education is preferred. Compensation PackageTotal Annual Compensation Range: $360,000 - $390,000.
