Many growing startups use this platform for financial management and funding needs. What You Bring Proven experience in a client-facing commercial banking or sales role with a focus on financial services or lending. Strong background in finance and lending. Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and be adaptable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong organizational and self-management skills, demonstrating ownership and pride in your work. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous environment while juggling multiple projects. Ownership mentality with a bias for action, high motivation, and a strong work ethic. What You'll Do Engage with prospects through meetings, presentations, and discussions to generate new business opportunities. Conduct outreach activities to target qualified CFOs and CEOs at companies likely to require capital markets solutions. Lead client meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up with clients to ensure smooth progression. Draft customized client proposals, develop pricing strategies, and create supporting sales materials. Send, negotiate, and execute Engagement Letters with prospective borrowers. Collaborate with Capital Leads to manage the debt placement process after contracts are signed, ensuring continued deal momentum. Contribute to refining the Relationship Manager process by documenting key procedures, improving forecasting, and accelerating sales cycles. Stay informed on debt products and sales methodologies to improve performance. Our Ideal Candidate Has proven experience in traditional finance, specifically in debt transactions, with a history of collaborating with private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) firms. Experience working in startup environments and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and fast-paced nature of high-growth companies. Proven track record of navigating complex financing structures and managing capital raises in both traditional finance and startup settings. Comfortable in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments, with the ability to adapt traditional finance skills to meet the needs of growing, innovative companies. A deep understanding of venture-backed companies and experience in structuring debt financing solutions for early-stage businesses. Ability to balance strategic and operational priorities, working closely with leadership teams in both traditional finance institutions and startup ecosystems. Experience in a client-facing role, helping startups access financing solutions while managing relationships with investors, founders, and C-suite executives.
