Our client is a venture-backed fast-growing startup, applying artificial intelligence to the drafting, negotiation, and analysis of contracts. They are on a mission to change the way organizations approach documentation and harness the power of the data within their documents. Recently named to CB Insights 2024 Fintech 100 as one of the most innovative Fintech companies globally, customers include some of the largest investment banks and hedge funds in the world. They are looking for a driven hunter to join the sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS sales, driving net new business at investment banks and/or hedge funds and asset managers. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and managing the sales process from start to finish. Candidates must be in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry with a focus on either broker-dealers or the buy-side (e.g. asset managers, hedge funds, etc.). Strong technical skills in areas such as software, product development, data integration, and familiarity with key technical concepts. Create and build out comprehensive business cases to address identified problems or opportunities and support strategic decision-making for prospects and clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential areas of growth and improvement. Build strong relationships with clients and serve as their primary point of contact throughout the sales process. Understand clients' business needs and develop customized solutions to address them. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets. Collaborate with the sales engineers to provide clients with accurate information about products and services. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue and profitability. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system. Requirements: 7-10 years of sales experience, selling into financial services. Experience at a fintech is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools. A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for technology. Willingness to travel as needed. Compensation Base compensation $140,000+ as well as commission with a likely 50/50 split.
