Job Responsibilities: Cocktail Creation: Craft unique and exceptional cocktails using a diverse range of premium spirits, fresh ingredients, and innovative techniques that captivate and surprise our guests. Menu Development: Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal cocktail menus that showcase your creativity and reflect the essence of our establishment. Guest Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, offering cocktail recommendations, and creating personalized experiences that leave a lasting impression. Efficient Bar Operations: Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, organized, and maintained to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for both guests and colleagues. Know your equipment inside and out, along with how to maintain it properly. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of drink consistency, presentation, and taste, ensuring that every cocktail served meets our restaurant's excellence criteria and specifications. Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and mixology techniques to continuously evolve and enhance our cocktail offerings. Collaboration: Work closely with the bar team, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination during service and to ensure availability of ingredients as required. Responsible Service: Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Skills and Qualifications: Mixology Expertise: Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, as well as a demonstrated ability to create original, exceptional drinks. Creativity: A passion for experimenting with flavors, ingredients, and presentation to create one-of-a-kind cocktails. Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring, pouring, and presentation to deliver consistent and aesthetically pleasing beverages. Guest-Centric: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with guests to provide memorable experiences. Time Management: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple orders and maintaining a high level of efficiency. Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with colleagues to ensure a collaborative and enjoyable work atmosphere. Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of various spirits, liqueurs, and other bar ingredients, including their origins, flavor profiles, and best uses. Adaptability: Quick to adapt to changing customer preferences and willing to adjust cocktail offerings accordingly. Certification: Possession of relevant bartending certifications and licenses required by local regulations including NYC Food Handler Certificate.
