We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Location Equipment Rental Director to lead their locations equipment rental division. This pivotal role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in photo and video production equipment and a passion for delivering unparalleled experiences to high-profile clients. Key Responsibilities: Actively participate in business development, fostering relationships and engaging with clients at events and programs. Partner with studio leadership and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless operations. Manage, train, and inspire the locations equipment rental team, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint. Oversee equipment care, maintenance, and workflows, ensuring all gear is in top condition and ready to impress. Rapidly respond to client requests, producing estimates, invoices, and delivering exceptional service. Maintain the functionality and organization of the equipment facility and streamline processes for maximum efficiency. Oversee the packing and unpacking of equipment, conducting quality checks, and addressing any issues promptly. Build strong relationships with vendors and manage repairs to keep inventory downtime minimal. Maintain an inventory of expendables, parts, and supplies while tracking expenses and staying within budget. Recommend new equipment and improvements to stay ahead of industry trends. Oversee the fleet of rental vehicles and ensure smooth logistics operations. Key Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the photo or video production industry. Comprehensive knowledge of photo and film equipment, including digital and computer systems. Proven ability to manage inventory systems and familiarity with barcode scanning processes. Strong communication and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A clean driving record and experience operating cargo vans, sprinters, or cube trucks. Exceptional organizational skills and a proven track record of working in fast-paced environments. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (50-100 lbs). A customer-focused mindset with a passion for exceeding high-end client expectations. Strong leadership skills, with experience training and managing staff.
