Job Type Full-timeDescriptionMember of the location's leadership team. Directly responsible for the overall management of the assigned department including all aspects of current operation to ensure acceptable safety, quality, schedule adherence, and productivity are achieved. Direct responsibility for all department employees to ensure proper orientation, safety, training, people development, compensation and working conditions are present. Requirements• Responsible for assigned department functions and all associated personnel. • Responsible to appropriately staff and schedule departmental personnel to ensure production requirements are met while minimizing costs. • Responsible for planning departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.• Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.• Observes and coaches' personnel on work related issues.• Implements and enforces company policies and procedures including plant wide safety rules and employee rules of conduct.• Responsible for developing people; improving processes; reducing costs; quality monitoring and improvements; superior customer service; and on-time delivery.• Incorporates Euroline's vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the Euroline philosophy.• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, terminating, disciplining and coaching employees. • Able to motivate employees to achieve results. Must be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the Euroline work environment and supporting the Company philosophy. • Ensures proper training on, and wear and usage of personal protective equipment.• Be a positive role model to team members, by following company policies and procedures. This includes, but isn't limited to, personal attendance, time and attendance entry, prompt follow up on employee issues and concerns, individual and team performance feedback, and uniform appearance.Knowledge and Abilities• Ability to motivate personnel and ability to work in, and promote, a team environment.• Thorough knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations. • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.• Read, write, and understand the English language and be able to interpret instructions (including technical drawings and shop papers) both written and oral.• Excellent written and oral communication skills including bilingual (Spanish) oral skill.• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines• Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs• Attention to detail with strong organizational skillsBilingual in Spanish a plus Education and Experience• Minimum two (2) years production leadership experience.• Prior employee management experience required.• High School diplomaPhysical Demands• Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.• Must be able to work on the plant floor when required.Work Environment• Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.• Safety glasses and steel toed shoes are required.Salary Description $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 Per Year
