The Opportunity Our firm's Media & Entertainment (M&E) practice is experiencing significant growth with hubs in New York and Los Angeles . We are seeking individuals at the Director and Senior Director levels to join our team to deliver large, complex and transformational client engagements. We are a tight-knit team that believes collaboration is key and offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and building leadership skills. Our small project teams give you frequent exposure to client executives and rapid growth in your areas of interest. Job Title: Director / Senior Director, Data & AI - M&E Practice This role will focus on leading complex analytics initiatives with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI), including generative AI applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting, with deep expertise in analytics and data-driven insights for M&E clients, as well as experience managing sophisticated analytics programs. Proven background in consulting, with significant experience selling and leading mid-to-large-scale analytics projects for M&E clients, delivering data-driven solutions that address critical business challenges and opportunities Deep understanding of advanced analytics methodologies, data science principles, and statistical analysis techniques relevant to M&E clients and the industry ecosystem Solid understanding in AI applications, with hands-on experience in generative AI tools and technologies, particularly in how they apply to M&E Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams, managing multi-phase projects, and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment that align with client objectives and industry trends Track record of identifying, scoping, defining and selling analytics-based projects with traditional and/or digital-first media companies Skilled in leading analytics projects in areas such as advertising, subscriptions, marketing and media operations Proficient in building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing expert guidance on analytics strategies, data management and AI adoption Role Expectations: Demonstrates expertise in M&E focus areas Effectively leads teams on complex projects by: setting clear direction, establishing clear expectations, ensuring quality of client / project team deliverable development Views client problems from the perspective of the C-Suite and provides solutions to achieve results Manages project budget, billings and collections Surfaces expansion opportunities at existing clients; assists in closing new business leveraging business/personal relationships; contributes $2 million in annual collections by originating new opportunities using their network (net new or existing clients), and/or generating work from project expansion efforts within existing client including referring work to others across the firm Leads proposal efforts Supports the development of capability offerings and accelerators Actively works to mentor a diverse set of employees Actively promotes a positive and inclusive team environment Preferably based in M&E hub city, which includes New York and Los Angeles Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant industry and consulting experience Strong analytical skills Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Strategic thinker on issues and act tactically understanding cross functional requirements Outcome oriented Entrepreneurial and thrives in a start-up environment yet has a commercial approach Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills Strong interpersonal/team skills, high E.Q. Passion for the M&E sectors and follow top trends and impacts Working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint Comfortable with travel The base salary range for Director is $150,000-$210,000 annually and Senior Director is $175,000-$250,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
