Job Title : Classified Network Manager Location : Arlington, VA Position Type : Full-Time Reports To : Director of IT and Cyber Eligibility Requirements : US Citizen Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Security+ Certification Job Overview : The candidate will rely on a Classified Network background to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and Nooks customers throughout multiple computing domains (Classified and Unclassified). The candidate is responsible for implementing, executing and enforcing Information System Security policies, standards, and directives to ensure assessment and authorization of information systems processing classified information. Position Responsibilities: Work with a variety of networking devices, KG-175 family of encryptors, firewalls, and various network management tools to establish initial connectivity at present and future Nooks sites Coordinate and collaborate with technical experts at government organizations to ensure networks are deployed in accordance with cybersecurity policies, approvals and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800-171 Use subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve complex issues and communicates the issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Configure, implement, and troubleshoot: Virtual Local Area Networks, Access Control Lists, 802.1x port-based network access control, Virtual Private Networks, Network Time Protocol, Simple Network Management Protocol version 3, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol and Encryptor Management Develop, modify, and update process and technical documentation, logical network diagrams that include physical layout and location of devices and the connection between devices participating on the network, technical implementation plans and related reports Provides network cable management solutions, tests, and troubleshooting. (CAT 6, CAT 6a, and multi-mode fiber cable) Familiarity with Unclassified Wifi access points, management and protocols Perform other IT tasks as required in a startup environment. To include but not limited to: Workstation deployment, account creation and management, system patching, self-inspections, software installation, server management and hardware procurement As company grows, will become an IT leader to coach and provide technical guidance to less-experienced IT professionals Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must have an active US DoD Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance Must have current Security+ in meeting DoD 8140 baseline requirements for Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Minimum 10 years' work-related experience or relevant military experience Extensive experience with network configuration and protocols for multiple classified networks. To include: SIPRNET, JWICs, and Special Access Program networks Experience working with DoD Organizations such as DISA, DIA, NSA, DCSA, DARPA or other Government agencies Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, network devices and supported applications Experience in cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800-171 Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Advanced degree (bachelor's or master's degree) preferred, but not required Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Project Management experience Experience in assessing and documenting cybersecurity compliance COMSEC experience preferred Experience leading audits conducted by external stakeholders Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to communicate well with team members, customers and leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
