The Office of Furniture Services (OFS) Facilities Coordinator In RE&D, we don't sit back and let things happen, we make things happen, and we do this in service to all Apple employees and customers. We develop and manage Apple's global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated professional to join our team as a Facilities Coordinator. The OFS Facilities Coordinator will be a highly motivated professional who enjoys both general administrative tasks as well as operational and project management activities. Description The OFS Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for updating and maintaining the furniture inventory database part numbers and descriptions, updating and maintaining furniture standards by building, and providing technical support to the Furniture Design and Warehouse teams regarding various furniture product lines. They will need to perform the following tasks: Update furniture part numbers and descriptions using common nomenclature. Identify, review, and validate all furniture standards for all buildings in SCV. Coordinate with the Apple Project Management team on all new furniture installations. Provide technical support to the Furniture Design and Warehouse teams. Create and update furniture product "pull-sheets" with part numbers and descriptions. Assist the Apple Ergonomics team with all ergonomics furniture part numbers and descriptions to ensure a common nomenclature. Support the Furniture Scheduling Supervisor in receiving and triaging furniture work requests for specific requesters. Assist in scheduling and directing the installation activities of multiple vendors. Provide direction to vendors as needed and ensure vendors comply with Apple policies and procedures. The role will report directly to the Department Manager. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience with modular furniture installations with an emphasis on providing the best possible service in a demanding environment. 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced multi-facility environment with a focus on operations, project management, and administrative services. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology and complex workflows. Unsurpassed customer focus, with a "Can-Do" attitude. Experience working and communicating with all levels of an organization. Thinks critically and creatively about how to regularly improve process and operations. Extremely proactive, responsive, and upbeat with strong organizational skills. Excellent planning, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, priorities, and people concurrently in a fast-paced, high growth, and results-driven environment. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and reporting skills. Manage the end-to-end process of departmental supply ordering, from identifying needs to tracking inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking, and optimizing cost-effectiveness. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $38.45 and $57.65/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
