Position Overview: Be a part of history taking humans farther into space than we've ever been. As part of the Orion Program team of engineers, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies in aerospace systems and contributing to the development of a spacecraft that will take humanity beyond Earth's orbit for the first time in decades. KODA Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to focus on systems-level thinking and software integration, ensuring that mission-critical software solutions function seamlessly within the Orion architecture. Working on the Orion Program means contributing to NASA's historic missions, including returning astronauts to the Moon and advancing human space exploration to Mars. What You'll Be Doing: Identify bottlenecks in the development process and propose solutions. Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Analyze code coverage and suggest improvements to code quality. Facilitate team retrospectives to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain engineering tools to improve software workflows, automation, and system efficiency. Support data pipeline development, optimizing the flow and processing of mission data. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Various levels of experience will be considered. Experience with C++ and/or Python. Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Strong understanding of software development practices, programming languages, and relevant tools. Ability to collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns. Ability to identify root causes of inefficiencies and propose effective solutions. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively. U.S. citizenship is required. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with tools development to support software engineering and automation. Background in data pipeline development, including data processing and integration. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams. Clearance: None Other: Work will be performed primarily at the Houston location. Some remote work may be possible.
