We are offering an exciting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Rail & Transit Group in Boston, MA. H&H is currently growing our design services and client base to support client and project needs in the Structural/Railroad focus areas. The successful candidate will lead the design of simple and complex fixed bridges, movable bridges and perform bridge inspections with a growing practice. Responsibilities Prepare detailed plans and construction documents Perform structural design calculations and analysis Develop technical specifications and contract bid documents Prepare technical reports Lead site visits for condition inspections Coordinate across disciplines and work in a team environment Mentor and train junior staff Requirements BS in Civil Engineering required PE License required (MA preferred) A minimum of eight years of Structural Engineering experience with a focus on bridge design (rail experience preferred) Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design of structural projects Experience with current FEM modeling software preferred Local rail client base preferred (MBTA, Amtrak) Proficient in both verbal and written communications We offer a professional work environment, a competitive salary, a benefits package, and 401(k). #J-18808-Ljbffr
