As the Production Supervisor, you will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient operations of our laminating plant in El Dorado, AR. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to achieve and exceed key performance indicator (KPI) targets in safety, quality, cost control, delivery, and employee engagement. Your leadership will cultivate a culture of excellence, significantly enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. The life of the Production Supervisor includes: * Maintain the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, practices, and OSHA regulations. * Address unsafe conditions promptly and proactively. * Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs while safely meeting production targets. * Coach, train, and support team members to maximize performance. * Foster open communication and engage employees for input into work processes and systems. * Ensure timely implementation of key corporate and operational initiatives and assist in equipment troubleshooting. * Maintain and monitor production goals. * Work with other departments to achieve operational goals. For this role, come equipped with: * Strong understanding of production processes and machinery used in Glulam manufacturing. * Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment. * Working knowledge of web-based computer applications and Microsoft Office. * High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing) is a plus. Ideally, you might also have: * Prior maintenance experience. * 2+ years of experience in a lumber mill or Glulam plant is highly desirable.
