Pay: $30.45 per hour Shift: 1st shift Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the coding team, ensuring accurate and timely coding of medical records Review and verify the coding of medical records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards Provide guidance and training to staff on coding procedures, standards, and best practices Ensure adherence to ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines Perform audits of coding accuracy and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure proper documentation and coding Stay up-to-date with coding changes, regulations, and best practices Requirements: (Must have one of the following credentials.) Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Two years of full-time comprehensive coding experience in an acute care hospital within the last five years Two years of full-time auditing and processing medical records in an acute care hospital or outpatient clinic setting within the last five years Lead/Supervisory experience in an acute care hospital is highly desired Must provide own equipment Benefits: At Staffmark, we offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, daily pay via direct deposit or pay card, 401(k) options, referral bonuses, employee discounts, professional development, and more!
