Supervisor - Production SupervisorMetal Manufacturing Experience Required!!!Production Supervisor 2nd ShiftWe are currently in search of a Second shift Production Supervisor to oversee operations of the machining departments. This person will be responsible for overseeing the site's toolroom, CNC machining, automated assembly, laser operations and other 2nd shift needs. Focused on SafetyAnalyze and resolve work problems and assist workers in solving work problemsEnsure department metrics are achieved in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient and productive mannerManages production schedules; is accountable for the achievement of area performance objectives, product quality and productivityCollaborate with Manager on scheduled performance reviewsSkills:5+ years related experience in manufacturing 5+ years' experience in people management and the supervision of a production teamAccountable, able to Prepare/Track/Follow up daily activities and projects from start to finish Ability to work independently and within a teamStrong communication, organizational and analytical skillsSelf-starter, tenacious and strong team playerExcellent team-building and interpersonal skillsLean and 5S understandingKnowledge of MRP system controls for production processes, including bills of materials, routings, setup sheets, work instructions.
