Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Apply Job Type Full-time Description Unload and load inbound and outbound trucks for all departments, perform repair and maintenance to the building as directed, and make deliveries as directed for all departments. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Primary loader and unloader of all trucks at the docks * Handle all paperwork associated with shipping and receiving * Assist all departments in loading, unloading, and delivering as needed * Keep warehouse floors clean using the sweeper scrubber, brooms, and mops as needed * Empty all garbage cans in the warehouse as needed * Assist in organizing, identifying, banding, and loading scrap batteries * Operate all classes of lift trucks to include Class 1-6. * Organize lift trucks and miscellaneous pallets within the warehouse * Assist Shop Technicians with lift truck repairs as needed * Observe all safety procedures including safe vehicle operation and proper disposal of hazardous waste Other Duties: * Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free shop workspace * Attend all scheduled training classes to maintain skills * Load unload, and deliver trucks * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Must be able to perform strenuous and heavy work occasionally, occasionally exert force up to 75 pounds on occasion and frequently handle loads up to 50 pounds. Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc. Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
