Located inside the DE.CO food hall in downtown Wilmington, Casa Nonna transports guests to Nonna's house with a warm, inviting atmosphere and an Italian-American menu inspired by Chef DiMeo's grandmothers, Maria and Italia. Our dishes blend tradition and innovation, featuring classic and reimagined antipasti, pastas, pizzas, entrées, and desserts. We Are Hiring: Line Cooks and Sous Chefs Do you have a passion for Italian cuisine? Are you looking to be part of a dynamic and talented kitchen team? Casa Nonna is seeking experienced Line Cooks and Sous Chefs who take pride in their craft, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to create memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Line Cook: Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency Maintain high culinary standards and food quality Assist with ingredient prep, station setup, and maintaining a clean workspace Follow recipes, portioning, and plating guidelines Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met Sous Chef: Oversee kitchen operations and support the Executive Chef Lead and mentor the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency and teamwork Assist in menu development, inventory management, and ordering supplies Maintain quality control and uphold restaurant standards Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations Qualifications Previous experience in a professional kitchen (Italian cuisine experience is a plus!) Passion for cooking and attention to detail Ability to work well in a team-oriented, high-energy environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to excellence Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Why Join Casa Nonna?
