The chance to join a small well funded startup developing disruptive high-speed, high-density and low-power optical transceivers!What You Will Be Doing Work as part of a world-class team of renown opto-electronic industry experts. Use state-of-the-art high-speed opto-electronic lab equipment to extensively characterize and test the world's densest 100G and 200G PAM-4 optical modules for ML/AI applications. Configure and tune advanced DSP-based SerDes from all major vendors to interface with our modules. Assess module standards compliance (e.g., IEEE Ethernet, OIF CEI, PCIe Gen5/6) and customer specifications. Perform system tests at leading ML/AI, datacom, and telecom system manufacturers and operators. Identify hardware issues and work towards resolutions together with our teams specializing in integrated optics, high-speed electronics, and opto-electronic packaging. Obtain, analyze, and interpret measurement results to guide our design teams during product definition, product design, and product debug. Amply collaborate with all other functional teams within our company in a highly cross-disciplinary manner in a top-notch technical environment. Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on changing requirementsWhat You Need for this PositionBachelor's (Master's Or PhD Preferred) In Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or a Related Field With Minimum Of 3+ Years Of Industry Experience In The Following: Proven hands-on laboratory experience in setting up and experimentally characterizing DSP-based high-speed optical communication systems. Proven hands-on experience in using state-of-the-art optical and high-speed electronics test and measurement equipment.
