INVENTORY SPECIALIST I - CENTRAL FLEET

INVENTORY SPECIALIST I - 1111 GRADE 13 PAY RANGE - $18.65 - $26.54/hr - plus a comprehensive benefits package This is a second shift position 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. General Statement of Duties: Maintains inventory levels of supplies and equipment; performs building maintenance duties such as mowing grass, etc.; performs directly related work as required. Examples of Essential Work: * Maintains, receives, issues, stocks and establishes a warehouse of inventory items; * Requisitions supplies and equipment; * Maintains a thorough and accurate inventory of all inventory within the warehouse, including receiving, issuing and filling requisitions for inventory items; * Recommends purchasing hand and power tools for use in maintenance operations; * Couriers parts as needed; * Issues tools, supplies and equipment to designated personnel; * Ensures a clean, safe and operational warehouse environment; * Responsible for building maintenance such as mowing the grass, fixing small plumbing and HVAC problems, changing tiles, etc. etc.; * May be required to coordinate work provided by vendors; * Provides needed information and demonstrations concerning how to perform certain work tasks to new employees in the same or similar class of positions; and more.. Acceptable Experience and Training: * Graduation from High School or possession of a GED; and * Some experience in a related field, including general construction, warehouse operations or retail inventory; or * Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work. Required Special Qualifications: * Possession of a New Hampshire Drivers License. * Possession of a valid New Hampshire CDL-B license or the ability to obtain a CDL-B license within one year of date of hire.
