Responsibilities: Regular inspection of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and testing machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, using a variety of tools and techniques. This may involve mechanical repairs, electrical fixes, or software troubleshooting. Keeping detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including any parts used and the time taken to complete each job. Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations, to protect both yourself and your colleagues. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Strong technical understanding, with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. Excellent mechanical skills, with a good understanding of how different machines and tools work. Proficiency in using a variety of tools, both hand and power, to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
