(MTSI) is searching for multiple Cybersecurity Engineers at different career levels in the National Capital Region to join our growing team in support of the office of Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Emerging Technologies (SIPET) within OSD DOT&E in identifying OT&E/LFT&E needs, gaps, and potential solutions, assisting in crafting new ways of doing business, and supporting Service and agency operational test organizations solve problems. For more information about MTSI, please visit Responsibilities As a Cybersecurity Engineer with MTSI, you will support the office of Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Emerging Technologies (SIPET) within OSD DOT&E in identifying OT&E/LFT&E needs, gaps, and potential solutions, assisting in crafting new ways of doing business, and supporting Service and agency operational test organizations solve problems. The work location is primarily in the National Capital Region. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Design and implement systems to meet cybersecurity policy and regulations. Apply understanding of weapons system cybersecurity to develop approaches to identify and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities within a system of systems. Utilize cybersecurity tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks. Integrate secure practices such as PKI integration, IdAM, multi-factor authentication, service-oriented architectures, and network or web-related protocols. Apply NIST security controls, governance, risk management, compliance security documentation tools, and the Risk Management Framework. Apply 6 Phases of Cyber Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Cyber Table-Top Exercises (TTXs) as required. Qualifications 1-10+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer: Junior (1-3 years' experience) Journeyman (4-9 years' experience) Senior (10+ years' experience) Educational Requirements: Bachelors in a relevant field.
