Vice President of Finance And Operations Job Title: Vice President of Finance and Operations Job Location: Long Island City, NY (Queens County, NY) Compensation: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year + Benefits Client Summary: We are a leading supplier of logo ready apparel to the uniform, corporate and promotional products markets, known for deep inventory levels and a wide selection of colors and sizes in men's, ladies, and youth apparel. Job Summary: This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes while managing financial activities to ensure sustained growth and profitability. The office is located in Long Island City, N.Y. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring processes are efficient, streamlined, and scalable to meet company objectives. Define departmental KPIs that align with strategic company goals and increase team member accountability through quantifiable metrics. Work collaboratively with department heads including warehousing, logistics, sales, and IT to optimize workflows, improve cross-departmental communication, and implement best practices to maximize team efficiency. Manage company insurance and employee health plans, 401k, pension, medical, and retirement accounts. Manage and communicate with company vendors, including freight rate negotiations, and support contractors. Manage onboarding new employees. Oversee customer service manager and respond to requests involving finance and shipping for larger accounts. Oversee all financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control, profitability, and financial stability. Monitor and manage cash flow to meet its short-term and long-term financial goals. Provide daily financial reporting, managing payables and account transfers of funds based on activity needs. Analyze costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities. Provide reports on logistics performance, transportation costs, and inventory levels and make recommendations for improvement. Manage factor financial relationships and credit card accounts. Manage reconciliation and all financial information for accountants. Create reporting, budgeting, and projections for executive management. Provide strategic insights to support the company's growth, profitability, and sustainability objectives. Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and financial management, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role. Expert knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
