Senior Estimator

Levolux is looking for a skilled and experienced estimator to join and grow with our team. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. A Levolux estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for architectural faí§ade and solar shading project opportunities throughout North America. This estimator will work closely with the business development and operations team through the pre-construction process. This includes cost estimating, budgeting, requesting and reviewing vendor proposals, and cost analysis. Employment Type: Full-time, base salary range $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 based on prior experience and skillset Benefits Offered: 100% coverage of medical/dental/vision plan 401k Cell phone reimbursement Hybrid work opportunities after 6 months Key Responsibilities: Download, compile, and organize drawings and specifications. Review drawings and perform quantity take-offs. Review and summarize specifications. Prepare proposals, including descriptions of the technical scope of work. Prepare conceptual budgets and maintain up-to-date historical pricing data for all unit-pricing exercises. Analyse project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities. Provide constructability reviews and provides constructive feedback to client and design teams. Distribute bid packages, review and evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors, develop and negotiate with vendors as needed, and ensure all scope items are accounted for. Manage all pre-construction budgets and estimates. Maintain and make improvements to the estimating template. In addition to your job's primary duties and responsibilities, you may be required to carry out additional tasks as can reasonably be expected for your job role and level.
