Position Overview: We're looking for a passionate, friendly, and skilled Barista to join our team as we open our doors to the Greenpoint community. If you love crafting exceptional coffee, providing excellent customer service, and working in a vibrant, collaborative environment, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and matcha beverages Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders and espresso machines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including prep and closing duties Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere Support café operations, including stocking supplies and handling transactions Assist in preparing light food items such as sandwiches, onigiri, and baked goods Qualifications: Previous barista experience required; shift supervisor experience is a plus Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards A passion for coffee, food, and fostering a community atmosphere Schedule and Availability: Full-time or part-time positions available Flexible schedule preferred, including weekends Early morning availability is required Compensation: Competitive hourly wage plus tips Opportunities for growth within a creative and dynamic team How to Apply: If you're excited about joining our team and think you'd be a great fit, please send your resume and a brief note about your interest in the position to >/p>
