The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations and drive vision to take AWS Data Center Operations to the next level. We are looking for a Data Center Operation Manager with experience in people leadership, technical support, and datacenter operations, which covers the scope of capacity planning, rack delivery, installation, decommission, and incident management. As the Data Center Operation Manager, you will lead a team of data center technicians and manage one or more physical sites within an AWS region. This role is responsible for building and managing a team of 7x24 operations to provide overall datacenter support for server and network equipment. The successful candidate is expected to be a fast learner or act as a subject matter expert across all aspects of data center operations. Key Job Responsibilities Hire, develop, build, and manage a team of Data Center Technicians, including the management of individual and team performance. Lead and supervise the team to be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting system, hardware, and network device issues. Ensure effective and efficient management of data center operations, including ticket queue management, 7/24 shift arrangements, and hardware logistics. Inspire and guide improvement in team processes, technology innovation, and automation. Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and met. Manage outage by severity level and act as the call leader. Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided, and continuously strive to improve our Customer Experience. Minimum Requirements 5+ years of people management experience. 5+ years of experience in managing an IT environment. In-depth knowledge and experience of change, problem, and incident management. Demonstrated communication skill in presentation, open discussion, team coaching. Understanding of financial budgeting, Capex, and Opex concepts. Cumulative experiences in Data Center Operations or similar roles in a mission-critical environment. Cumulative experiences with information technology infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, cabling, and IT service delivery principles and best practices. Project Management skill. Capacity planning and budgetary experience. Experience in safety and security measures. Fluent in Korean and English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
