GovCIO Senior IT Specialist Providence, Rhode Island Apply Now GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior IT Specialist to support the US Courts. Responsibilities Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Plan, coordinate, and implement network/system security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware. Provide regular monitoring and analysis regarding short and long-range planning for in-house systems. Prepare or ensure that appropriate documentation exists, including operational instructions. Write or modify basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate administration tasks. Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes. Qualifications Bachelor's with 8+ years of IT customer support experience (or commensurate experience). Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance.
