Join MixyPaws as a Lead Dog Walker in either Manhattan or Brooklyn! Are you passionate about dogs and looking for a fulfilling job opportunity in Manhattan or Brooklyn? MixyPaws is seeking dependable and enthusiastic Lead Dog Walkers to join our team! This is a part-time, W-2 employed position. You will also be eligible for a $300 bonus after a successful 90-day performance review and you will be guaranteed 20 hours a week. What We're Looking For: Experienced dog walkers with availability each weekday (Monday through Friday) between 11am and 3pm. Reliability, punctuality, and great communication skills. Ability to withstand all weather conditions outside and several hours of walking each day. Familiarity with either Manhattan or Brooklyn streets and public transit. Eligibility to work in the U.S. and a minimum age of 18. Prior experience with clients and dogs. A working smartphone with a data plan for communication and tracking walks. Responsibilities of the Role: Commute to different service areas to cover dog walking routes or run keys. Provide coverage for emergencies in the field to ensure all dogs are being walked. Accompany new staff on their routes for training and observation purposes. Handle new client routes and distribute marketing materials in the field. Monitor and respond to chat messages from staff and clients in a timely manner. Assist in recording staff performance and compliance with safety protocols. Audit staff onboarding, keys and client account information. What We Offer: Competitive compensation and performance bonuses.
