Visit Our People page to learn more about Tapestry's commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity.Primary Purpose: The Director, Amazon Marketplace is responsible for driving the Coach business on Amazon - directing the strategic vision of all Amazon initiatives and ensuring effective execution and alignment with company objectives to drive growth and enhance brand positioning. This role will also help to set up the key organizational structure and processes to help drive a high performing on-going functional area. The ideal candidate will quickly gain a good understanding of the business and be able to identify opportunities or issues and recommend action plans. This role will require a deep understanding of our customer, high level strategic and organizational agility, and the ability to influence across the company and within their own team. This is a highly cross-functional position both internally and externally that requires strong relationship, communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, budget management, and fiscal knowledge. Create a vision: Develop a strategic vision for Coach's growth potential on Amazon and lay out the roadmap to achieve those goals (both financial and customer acquisition based). Build a team and foundation for on-going growth: Build a team that ensures there are the necessary complimentary skills to achieve its goals. Identify opportunities to streamline work and create new on-going processes that allow for the team to be nimble, efficient, sustainable over the long-term. Nurture and develop high potential talent for clear succession planning. Drive the business / Meet KPIs: Manage Amazon P&L, including topline sales and expenses including Marketing. Build ambitious long-range plan across both sales and customer acquisition. Consumer Obsession: Understand the target consumer deeply and align decisions and activities to help achieve acquisition of target consumer base. Cross-functional partnership and Enrollment: Build and maintain relationships including finance, North America wholesale, marketing, merchandising, and external partners. Ability to influence within the organization to drive enrollment of initiatives. Innovation: Source, along with Amazon partners, new beta opportunities to test and implement if successful to further enhance the brand and business growth potential.
