Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract job opportunity with a direct client located in the Princeton NJ area. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end business process cycles (OTC, PTP, WM, TM, POD, etc.) with various distribution systems and platforms (Web, ERP, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Final Mile Delivery, etc.). Position requires Pharma, Enterprise IT/Commercial experience - SAP/Ariba, Finance, Workday, Veeva, Digital Analytics, Ingenius, Omni channel - Commercial experience. Rate Range: $75.00 - 85.00 per hour W2. Candidates must already be local to the NJ area to work 2 days (Tuesday & Thursday) per week onsite from the start. IT Project Manager - Job Responsibilities: Mastering the end-to-end business process cycles (OTC, PTP, WM, TM, POD, etc.) Becoming fluent with the entire IT landscape (core systems, secondary systems, interfaces, etc.) Reviewing business requirements and understanding business rationale and the end goal. Comparing multiple vendor solutions against the business requirements and preparing analysis. Presenting analysis to executive leadership and delivering recommendations for decision making. Building detailed budgets and managing project expenses within the approved limits. Developing project timelines, meeting the defined milestones, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Identifying resource requirements and managing the assets bandwidth. Delivering weekly status reporting for each project and reporting to project stakeholders. Mitigating risks and providing alternative solutions and/or workarounds when needed. Managing the communication and training requirements for project deployments. Building and overseeing the execution of comprehensive cutover plans during Go Lives. Managing post Go Live Hypercare and expediting resolution during production outages. Assisting the Business Analysts (BAs) in delivering change requests. Improving the change request process to increase the delivery capacity. Providing project management training, tools, and materials to BAs to assist with enterprise initiatives. Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of proven experience managing IT projects. PMP strongly preferred. Experience working within a PMO environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field (Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, etc.) and MBA preferred. Experience with various distribution systems and platforms (Web, ERP, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Final Mile Delivery, etc.) Enterprise IT/Commercial experience - SAP/Ariba, Finance, Workday, Veeva, Digital Analytics, Ingenius, Omni channel - Commercial experience. Fluent in distribution practices and processes both upstream (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, etc.) and downstream (Receiving, Selection, Inventory Control, etc.) Interpersonal skills that nurture the development of relationships, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration. Outstanding communication skills with ability to articulate the explanation of complex systems and processes. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a desire for accuracy and data integrity. Excellent project management and time management with capability of multi-tasking competing priorities at times. Dynamic and agile with ability to quickly shift focus and attention based on the severity of the situation at hand.
