Data Scientist

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join their team. Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience with CoPilot, Azure Data Lake, MS Fabric, and Synapse. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns and trends. Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Utilize CoPilot, Azure Data Lake, MS Fabric, and Synapse to manage and analyze data. Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role. Proficiency in using CoPilot, Azure Data Lake, MS Fabric, and Synapse. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
