SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sales Operations Director must thrive in a high-growth B2B environment with a creative, collegial, and sales-oriented culture. Successful candidates must be willing to implement key performance indicators and manage a team of salespeople to grow the business and accept the challenges that come with an entrepreneurial environment. This position will report directly to the CEO and will have oversight over two key functions within the organization: managing the salesforce/sales delivery and running the marketing function. Superior candidates enjoy the challenges of managing a team of veteran salespeople and monitoring market trends to introduce popular new products to the client's 1,000+ customers. High-energy, hands-on executives with a sense of urgency are best suited for this position. The Sales Operations Director is a unique role that is responsible for motivating the sales team, holding them accountable to metrics, organizing outbound marketing initiatives including preparation of key materials and attending trade shows, and maintaining a strong understanding of the Company's product catalog. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, self-confident, action-oriented, and a self-starter. Sales Responsibilities: Manage a team of salespeople to help drive growth in sales and increase recurring sales. Monitor and track individual salesperson and team key performance indicators on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis such as sales, customer calls, and visits. Assist with open orders review. Drive Sales Team's calling efforts weekly. Help salespeople prepare for important customer visits and facilitate lead generation. Marketing Responsibilities: Harmonize the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development functions within the business. Create marketing materials including but not limited to catalogs, sell sheets, and other materials to assist with the sales function. Review current trends in products and materials and work with the Art Department on new concepts. Plan, staff, and attend multiple trade shows annually and manage the booth, meet with customers, and report back on industry trends. Compose email blasts of new products and promotions to stay in front of customers and generate excitement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
