IT Asset Management Specialist

Overview Location: Tustin, CA- On-site. Pay: $22/hr. Hours: 7:30AM to 8AM start. COMPANY SUMMARY: New American Funding is one of the largest privately-owned direct mortgage lenders in the nation. POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Asset Management Specialist role supports and empowers staff with IT equipment to execute the organizational mission securely via supported business applications and technology. This person will identify, research, and resolve policy issues, complete equipment installations, configurations, and upgrades, and work on problem identification and resolution of hardware and ticketing issues. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds (Computer Equipment Boxes containing laptops, mini desktops, PC monitors, docking stations, IP phones). Monitor incoming ticket requests for IT assets (IT equipment and peripherals). Assist helpdesk team members with PC configurations. Receive new IT equipment and asset tag it, recording asset tag and serial number in our IT Asset Management Tracking application. Image laptops and desktops, shipping replacement IT equipment to existing employees for break-fix and upgrades. Receive used IT equipment returns, unbox, clean, process returns, and update records in the IT tracking system. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: A basic knowledge of operating systems, software, and hardware. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong understanding of principles, practices, and techniques in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Basic computer literacy. Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods. High energy and passion for New American Funding's mission. Reliability and responsibility in fulfilling obligations and meeting deadlines. WORK CONDITIONS: Pleasant workspace setting, comfortable temperature. Requires good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and mobility. Computer usage and lifting for extended periods may be required.
