Extract meaningful insights from large datasets and metadata sources, leveraging advanced data analysis techniques. Formulate and test hypotheses/models, analyze results, and provide clear interpretations. Apply sound judgment within established procedures and best practices to ensure accurate and ethical outcomes. Develop and implement moderately complex software programs, algorithms, and automation processes to streamline workflows. Utilize modeling and trend analysis to evaluate data and deliver actionable insights. Foster a strong understanding of ethical AI principles and best practices in data science. Transform raw data into user-friendly visualizations such as charts, tables, or dashboards to facilitate effective decision-making. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and subject matter experts to drive project success. Lead small-scale projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes. Effectively document and present analytical findings to stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications: Experience: Over 15 years of hands-on experience in exploratory data analysis and related fields. Business Acumen: Foundational understanding of business operations and industry dynamics. Statistical Expertise: Proficient in statistical analysis, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics. Programming Skills: Strong programming expertise in SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Scala, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Model Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated ability to execute and manage the entire model lifecycle, from development to deployment. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in big data analysis, coding, project management, and technical writing. Data Storytelling: Expertise in presenting complex data analyses in an engaging and understandable format. Research & Analytical Skills: Strong research capabilities and critical thinking to solve problems effectively. Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to build relationships across teams. Knowledge Base: Working knowledge of standard procedures, instructions, and validation techniques in data science projects. Problem-Solving: Proactive in addressing and resolving issues with sound judgment. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields. Advanced degrees are a plus.
