Job Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for performing daily payroll operations. Responsibilities Maintain and document all payroll records Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Reconcile and validate payroll prior to transmission Understand proper taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors Process and monitor garnishment orders and other deductions that impact payroll specifications Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll checks Assist with year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc) Process manual checks Review data/files received from HR Research and email appropriate audience of file issues Address employee payroll and timekeeping inquiries and concerns Qualifications Associates Degree with an additional 3 years of experience and/or BS/BA in business, accounting or relevant experience and 2 years of experience Must have experience with processing payroll Must have experience with timekeeping Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel Working knowledge of NetSuite, Kronos or ADP payroll system or equivalent payroll & timekeeping software $24.00-$27.00 an hour Equal Opportunity Employer Essen Health Care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population. #J-18808-Ljbffr
