Description DENVER RESCUE MISSION Job Announcement Position Title: Hospitality Desk Agent - Harvest Farm Reports to: Program Manager Job Classification: Full-time; Non-exempt Salary Range: $20.29 - $24.55 per hour About Us: Denver Rescue Mission has been serving the most vulnerable in our community for over 130 years. The Opportunity: The Hospitality Desk Agent is responsible for providing essential administrative and reception support to the Director of Residential Programs, Harvest Farm leadership, and operational teams and will contribute to the smooth and efficient daily operations of the facility. This role includes greeting and assisting new program participants with intake, collecting fees as necessary, managing office tasks, answering phone calls (including intake calls), and ensuring that all guests, visitors, and participants experience a safe and welcoming environment. The Hospitality Desk Agent upholds Harvest Farm's policies and procedures to maintain an organized and secure environment for everyone on site. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Provide general administrative assistance, including scheduling, preparing reports, taking meeting notes, and managing paper and electronic files. Handle data entry, reconcile credit card receipts and statements, and support budgeting processes as needed. Assist with maintaining shared files, updating internal resources and calendars, and organizing digital and physical files. This may include, but will not be limited to, managing grant reporting, record keeping for licensure, and overall compliance with external agencies. Create and distribute reports, meeting notes, and program updates for leadership and staff. PARTICIPANT AND VISITOR SUPPORT: Welcome and assist new program participants, facilitating their intake process, ensuring they complete required forms, and informing them of Harvest Farm's policies and procedures. Answer incoming calls professionally, including intake calls, and provide accurate information regarding Harvest Farm programs and services, direct calls as necessary to appropriate staff. Collect program fees from participants, maintain accurate records, and notify case management of any overdue fees. Ensure that all guests, visitors, and vendors sign in upon arrival and comply with organizational policies to maintain a safe and secure environment. Manage participant records, including intakes and room assignments, and track participant progress through the program. Process Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) for authorized drivers among volunteers and program participants. OFFICE COORDINATION: Order and maintain office supplies, monitor office equipment, and ensure common areas are stocked and clean. Process mail distribution and oversee all incoming packages. Uphold Harvest Farm's policies and procedures, working collaboratively with staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants and visitors. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and ensure the proper recording of donations, including Gift-in-Kind items. Support the safety and welfare of all participants by maintaining communication with staff, de-escalating issues as necessary, and following established protocols. Collaborate with program and custodial staff to address maintenance and custodial requests in a timely manner. Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and serve as a professional, welcoming contact for Harvest Farm. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements Minimal Qualifications: High School diploma required, an associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred. Previous experience in administrative support, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-based setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and general office equipment. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain excellent attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals. Commitment to the mission and values of Harvest Farm and the Denver Rescue Mission. Valid Colorado Driver's License and insurable driving record required. Willingness to complete a background check for MVR authorization. Willingness to become a Notary Public and handle confidential matters professionally. Ability to sign the Statement of Faith. Work Environment: Primarily on-site with potential for remote work as permitted. Ability to work outside regular business hours as necessary.
