Responsibilities: Lead an application development team and exhibit an understanding of the design, analysis, development, code review, testing, and post-release support to satisfy business and functional requirements. Focus on application development, testing, and deployment to enhance team delivery. Actively learn new skills and coach others to do the same. Enforce a culture of stop and fix to protect the team's reputation for excellence in engineering. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems. Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages such as Oracle, Java 8, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular JS, and FLEX. Experience with UNIX Scripting and working in an Agile Methodology. Keen understanding of financial control and budget management. Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and build an innovative culture. Expert in at least one technology and design technique. Experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure. Strong understanding of techniques such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security.
