BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST II/III - PRIMARILY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY (Depending on qualifications, the position may be filled as a Business Systems Analyst II or a Business Systems Analyst III.) Some assignments may be limited or not available. Telework must be completed from a pre-designated home-based location within the State of California and employees may be required to report on-site to address business needs.Telework is at the sole discretion of the Court and may be rescinded with 48 hours' notice, based on needs of the Orange County Superior Court. ABOUT THE POSITION The Court Technology Services (CTS) Strategic Innovations group is a new unit that works in a fast-paced environment and is responsible for collaborating with Court business units in creating new ideas, evaluating technologies, helping implement new systems and optimizing business processes to help our Court achieve its long-term goals and objectives. The unit is involved in identifying new opportunities, anticipating emerging trends in technology, and developing new ways to solve problems. These solutions have the potential to have major transformational effects on the way Court conducts business and meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external customers and justice partners.The Business Systems Analyst II/III will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders. This role involves analyzing complex business processes and data to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation, and translating those insights into mockups, diagrams, as well as functional and requirements documents. Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst II/III will be responsible for performing quality assurance, working with machine learning models, automating workflows, and managing projects.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong business analysis capabilities, understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLM), and familiarity with low or no-code software development. To view the full job description, please click on the following links: BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST II | BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST III REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent - AND - two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) experience in business or systems analysis, requirements gathering, operational or system documentation development and/or process reengineering, with at least one (1) year of which was at the level of the Court's class of Business Systems Analyst I . BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST III REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent -AND- three (3) years of full-time (or equivalent) experience in business or systems analysis, requirements gathering, operational or system documentation development and/or process reengineering, with at least one (1) year of which was at the level of the Court's class of Business Systems Analyst II . DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS : 5+ years of Systems/Business analysis experience. 5+ years of experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 1+ years of experience with Generative AI. Experience using low/no-code tools. Experience writing SQL queries. Experience working with agile methodology.
