Hitachi Storage Engineer

Job Description Skills: Qualify/Certify new storage infrastructure in customers' ecosystem Configure storage array and software tools to fit into customers' ecosystem Run suite of I/O benchmarks to capture performance of storage infrastructure Identify and remediate any bottlenecks Document in detail, with artifacts, the results of the qualification Identify and resolve any tooling or compatibility issues within customers' ecosystem Ability to work in both a team environment and as an individual; self-starter Detail-oriented; documentation of test results and findings is critical Ability to present qualification results Task and time management skills; ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Hitachi storage knowledge (midrange G, E, B20 and enterprise) Solid working knowledge of the Linux Operating System iSCSI networking knowledge Scripting skills in Python Must be skilled with Confluence #J-18808-Ljbffr
