This position can be located in the Washington, DC or Chicago, IL office Position Summary: NAR is looking for a seasoned Multiple Listing Service (MLS) & Member Policy Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Member Policy, the MLS & Member Policy Manager will manage the strategic creation of educational and operational resources supporting REALTOR association MLSs. They will be responsible for answering complex policy questions for both members and association staff, while keeping current on developments and events affecting MLS operations in order to create timely and useful resources. They will also make presentations, write articles, and prepare other informational material as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the MLS policy program, strategies, and initiatives. Point of contact for inquiries regarding NAR policies related to multiple listings, membership, association bylaws, and professional standards. Conduct research, analyze, and collaborate with Policy team members to determine what MLS educational opportunities are needed to best service our REALTOR association owned MLSs and execute those initiatives. Collaborate with MLS Director and Director of Engagement on NAR's MLS Committee and related work groups. This includes identifying key policy issues for consideration by the Committee, contributing to MLS policy ideas, and preparing relevant materials before and following each MLS Committee meeting. Gather information from the MLS field and stay abreast of trends and events occurring in the industry. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of MLS experience. Working knowledge of MLS policies and how they are applied. Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation. Results-oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment. Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries. Ability to travel up to 10%. Compensation: $85,000-$100,000NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
