This is a hybrid on-site position in their Downtown Manhattan office. US Citizens or GC holders only; the base salary varies from $130k-$180k plus equity. Machine Learning Platform Engineer - Stealth AI Startup Focus on building and optimizing ML infrastructure, particularly on-premises systems, to support high-performance, secure computing environments for financial technology; this role does not involve building ML models. Design and implement scalable infrastructure and high-throughput data pipelines for ML workloads across GPU clusters, with GPU optimization as a plus but not required. Develop and maintain observability and monitoring tools for distributed ML systems, implementing testing frameworks and CI/CD practices to enhance productivity. Collaborate closely with AI research scientists to translate research ideas into production-ready systems, with an emphasis on secure and robust infrastructure design.
