Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with offices in Budapest, Chennai, Seattle, Tokyo, and Zagreb, CMT measures and protects tens of millions of drivers worldwide every day.CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Principal Data Engineer who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!**Responsibilities:*** Lead, manage, and create data architecture within the engineering team, focusing on new Geospatial data initiatives and a Geospatial Data Lake* Develop innovative solutions to address complex technical problems, particularly in the realm of geospatial data, data engineering, and novel solutions that contribute to a new line of business for CMT's Public Sector* Assume a leadership role in code and design reviews, specializing in data engineering and data processing code for our high scale multi-layer Geospatial data pipeline* Drive full-stack design and development, emphasizing maintainability, usability, scalability, and performance.
