Team Lead, Network Operations (Night Shift) Tempe, AZ About the position: This is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing daily operations and development of Coordinators, Specialists, and Senior Specialists to ensure quality, timely customer service and sound decision making. This position will report directly to the Manager, Network Operations. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. This role is a night shift. You would work Tuesday - Saturday 3pm-12am, Hybrid in office (Tuesday and Thursday only) What you'll be doing: Provide real-time support to Network Operations Coordinators, Specialists and Senior Specialists with questions, escalations and audits. Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and development through appropriate coaching, development, training, and performance management. Proactively communicate information to direct reports, providing clear understanding of expectations, performance measures, and goals. Effectively communicate with Drivers, Field Leadership, and other internal stakeholders to provide real time updates to network impacts, incident status, and root cause analysis. Maintain and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports of quality metrics and respective targets and goals. Act as a subject matter expert in Carvana's Logistics Management Systems and other technology including JIRA, TMS Quintiq, and more. Manage, problem solve, and mitigate delays to the order fulfillment process, escalating issues as necessary. Proactively communicate with leadership regarding business performance, adverse impact of decisions on the field, and potential risks to the business. Perform administrative duties including auditing and submitting time sheets, updating attendance points, and approving PTO for direct reports. Be a continuous positive force within the office, creating strong morale and spirit throughout the team. What the Job Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. 4+ years experience in a logistics role. 2+ years of experience in a manager or leadership role. Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to effectively delegate tasks to team members and communicate and interact in a professional, courteous manner. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Ability to resolve complex issues with strong attention to detail. Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers. Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion consistent with company values and strategic goals. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Availability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary. Ability to commute and work out of the Tempe headquarters.
