We have an opportunity for an experienced software developer II to join our Technology team! In this role, you would be responsible for maintaining our own proprietary intranet development product where the end users are Henderson employees. We are seeking a detail-oriented developer who can develop and maintain internally-facing business applications. If you have experience automating complex workflows, providing insights using historical data, and improving tools that employees use on a daily basis to ensure everyone is performing at the highest quality, we encourage you to apply. This role will require no on-call schedule, no after-hours emergency responses, or weekends. It is ideal for software developers that are looking for work/life balance and the ability to grow with Henderson's software development team. Key Responsibilities: Responds to requests for changes, bug fixes, and optimizations to existing software solutions which may include legacy applications or work by other developers. Creates and maintains style standards, designs reusable components, and reviews applications to ensure that they meet organization standards. Designs and implements solutions. Evaluates, tests and revises applications as needed. Researches new programming languages and designs technologies to improve new and existing software applications. Promotes a culture of collaboration across roles and teams. Non-negotiable Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, specifically with full-stack software development. Preferred Qualifications: Developer certifications UI/UX experience Modern CSS/HTML (experience with CSS pre/post-processors like LESS, SASS, PostCSS is a plus). We take care of our people.
