Position: ERP Manager Location: 900 Commerce Drive #150, Oak Brook, IL Job Id: 521 # of Openings: 1 Job Overview: The ERP Manager will play a pivotal role in the technical support and utilization of our ERP applications. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the system's performance, reliability, and alignment with our business goals. Responsibilities and Duties: Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT ERP systems & services. Provide support and collaboration for our ERP systems (Dassault Systemes IQMS and Omegacube). Serve as an unbiased advisor and project manager, leading strategic technology projects for digital solutions such as ERP, CRM, WMS, e-commerce, and more across diverse commercial industries. Conduct comprehensive business systems assessments to develop options analysis and detailed roadmaps for achieving technology and business goals. Advise on digital transformation initiatives, managing solution evaluations, continuous improvement projects, guiding change management and implementation support activities. Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures. Ensure operation by training personnel, providing help desk support, and providing references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation. Gain deep understanding of key industrial market segments, such as plastic molding and metal forming manufacturing and distribution, by analyzing business processes, challenges, and trends. Identify and solve any ERP application problems and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Manage SQL databases associated with the ERP systems, including monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning. Serve as the SQL database administrator, ensuring data integrity, security, and disaster recovery strategies. Lead ERP system upgrades and patches, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to minimize downtime. Requirements: Hands-on experience with ERP systems, advanced knowledge of ERP functions and disciplines. Ideally, proficient in Dassault Systemes IQMS, SQL Server management, query writing and optimization, SSIS and SSRS. Strong ability to build solid relationships in teams, with peers and management. Capable of working well under pressure. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage a diverse audience, from technical professionals to C-level executives. Passionate, adaptable, customer-focused, and teamwork oriented. Strong sense of urgency and accountability. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of proven experience managing ERP systems proving positive impact on the business performance. Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, or a related field required. Strong project management skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. (PMP Certification preferred) Willingness to travel based on client and project demands. Experience in plastic molding & metal forming a plus.
