Qualifications 2+ years experience in a data science role Proficiency with programming using Python or R Proficiency with SQL and relational databases Strong analytical skills and a desire to solve complex problems with data Experience with data visualization and effectively presenting data and insights Responsibilities In this position, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to support multiple areas of the business through modeling and analysis The Data Scientist will contribute to the build-out of our analytics architecture and will lead the creation of models and algorithms that will support our trading, marketing, product, and technology teams You will work with multiple data sets to extract insights and deliver outputs that will contribute to the success of SuperDraft This role can be done remotely, and will report into the VP, Business Intelligence across The Sporting News and SuperDraft Collaborate with BI and Technology teams on further build out of analytics architecture Create and manage prediction models to generate outputs contributing to fantasy sports gameplay and reward structure Construct data products for use by various teams in the business Design framework for user segmentation and KPI prediction Work closely with CRM team to improve and automate communication strategies Contribute to analysis of digital analytics data for user behavior on our games across App and Web Benefits You'll receive up to 15 days of paid annual leave (from the start), 10 paid sick days, and 10 paid holidays, affordable health benefits (dental and vision included), competitive parental leave, short and long-term disability paid by the company, basic life term insurance and personal accident insurance paid by the company, 401(k) and flexible work environment SuperDraft is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in the daily fantasy sports and skill games industry.
