Overview As part of this mission, the Data Security Team is seeking a Lead Data Security Engineer that will act as a Subject Matter Expert for design, implementation, deployment and Level 3 engineering support for operational management of data security solutions. You should be experienced in system architecture, design, engineering and deploying data security applications over multi/hybrid environments including on-premise and public Cloud - Google or Azure. You'll need to be proficient in leading the engineering of data security solutions over Operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Mac endpoints and on Virtual infrastructure. What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model with up to 60% work from home, allowing for in-office/work from home flexibility Access to a strong network of Communities of Practice connecting you to colleagues with shared interests and values Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits What You'll Do Responsible for the design, deployment, and configuration of data security solutions Provide Level 3 engineering support to Operations for troubleshooting complex issues Be technically proficient with vendor tools and collaborate with vendors to resolve gaps in vendor solutions/platform technologies Partner/communicate with stakeholders to ensure capability meets technical roadmap and strategy Assist in developing long-term strategies around securing our data Management of regulatory and audit issues related to data security Skills You'll Need Extensive experience of information technology experience, with proven experience in data security in on-premise and/or public Cloud environments Extensive experience with multiple Operating System platforms - Windows, Linux, Mac In-depth experience of industry leading technologies for Cloud data security management Ability to create technical documentation in English for Key Operating Procedures Skills That Will Help You Excel Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent experience/certification Current information security certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other Proficiency with Microsoft Windows administrative tools, including Microsoft Azure Cloud controls Basic coding or scripting knowledge Work proficiently with minimal supervision and demonstrate well-organized communication skills Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
