Security Applications Engineer

What we offer you: Market, competitive wages based on experience Opportunities for career growth, training, and development A recognition culture with dynamic leadership Work/Life Balance 401(k) plan with company match Excellent medical, dental, vision, and Rx drug insurance Company paid Life and AD&D insurance Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement What you'll do: Support the achievement of sales and execution goals through direct pre/post-sales support, including the development of engineered and integrated solutions with associated costs estimates for the Sales/Execution Teams Generate device counts, technical scopes of work (SOW), narratives, and associated cost estimates and proposals using internal tools including but not limited to ConnectWise Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain the most up-to-date system, device, and equipment pricing information Gather all technical information to produce project submittal package (drawings, cut sheets, one-line diagrams, etc.) Prepare detailed submittal drawings using Visio drawing tool per BCM Standards including but not limited to: riser diagrams, network drawings, control system drawings, and equipment detail drawings Write, compile, test, and install control application programs for Security and Integrated Systems Support the Project Teams/Personnel as required Who you are: Minimum 3-5 years of related industry experience with integrated electronic security solutions and/or experience in a pre-sales support/engineering function Product specific certifications such as Genetec, Lenel/S2, Software House, Exacq, Axis, or similar Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities and meeting deadlines Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with others via electronic and in-person methods Familiarity and proficiency with Bluebeam is a plus Familiarity and proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus Ability to travel locally as needed (MA, ME, and NH principally) Salary Range: $110K - $130K+ dependent on experience Reports to the Operations Manager BCM Controls provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
